I’m back munching rabbit food!
I’m back on the Weight Watchers plan from today after putting on a staggering 5lb in 2 weeks off! I feel a little like my wings have been clipped, but I am totally ready to get back into it.
I also went to the gym tonight and had a look around. I’m going to go back and sign up tomorrow. My plan is to go twice a week to start with while my body gets used to the changes. I also want to be very careful with my knees. I don’t want to do anything that will damage the progress that I have made since my double knee arthroscopy. My membership will also include swimming and fitness classes. I can’t wait to find out what they have on offer and to tone up my body ready for the summer!

Excellent! Be careful with those knees.
They took a bit of a pounding last week with the cliff walking, rock climbing and the very steep stairs in the Cornish Cottage we stayed in. To be honest they are still swollen and sore. Nothing too bad, but they are not happy. I may well skip the classes and opt for low impact swimming for a while until they settle down.
I forgot to say that I gave up redbull too! I’m on day two and so far so good. I was having 4/5 a day and decided to stop them dead. I’ve replaced them with pure, natural water and am already feeling better. I’ve found I’m not crashing in the afternoon any more.
I would definately recommend starting with swimming until your knees are happy with you. Swimming can be a major workout without putting a lot of strain on your knees.
